Secretary Ministry of Petroleum met Petrobras CEO
New Delhi: Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas met Petrobras CEO Mr. Jean Paul Terra Prates on the sidelines of G20 ETWG II in Brazil. The sides discussed ways to strengthen India-Brazil cooperation in the energy sector including through strengthening bilateral trade in hydrocarbons, joint investment projects and low-carbon pathways like biofuels.

Sides agreed to identify innovative ways to build on the mutual complementarities between the countries with India as the main driver of energy demand in the coming decades and under the Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi's vision building a global refinery hub on one side and Brazil's focus to increase energy production.
