New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas for the appointment of Shri Arun Kumar Singh, Director (Marketing), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) to the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD). Shri Singh has been appointed as CMD of BPCL effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation, i.e, 31.10.2022, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
