New Delhi: Shri Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurate a commercial HCNG production plant and dispensing station in Delhi today. This is a momentous occasion and a historic development in our efforts of combating vehicular pollution and finding green pathways for a sustainable future.
I am glad that Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. has once again risen to the occasion and has developed an innovative & compact reforming technology for production of 4 tonnes per day hydrogen-mixed CNG.Also, compliment Indraprastha Gas Limited for setting up a dispensing station to refuel HCNG from this station.
We are working assiduously to make our cities pollution-free and also ensure greater quality of life for our citizens. More than 4 lakh crore investment is already underway to transform India into a gas-based economy.
GOI under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi ji is committed to usher in a clean energy future that has minimal impact on the environment. The steps taken today, including trial of HCNG on 50 buses will be a major breakthrough in India’s journey towards hydrogen economy.
Providing clean and reliable energy supplies to meet the needs of 130 crore plus Indians is the top most priority of the Government. I am sure that India will emerge as a winner in developing solutions the world would admire for the decades ahead.
