NEW DELHI- CMPDIL distributed Aids and Assistive Devices to Divyangjan at Nagpur. Shri Nitin Gadkari, Honourable Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Govt.of India, Graced the Occasion.
CMPDI, RI-IV, Nagpur in collaboration with the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) distributed Aids and Assistive Devices to Divyangjans (PWDs) under CSR at a cost of Rs.40 Lakhs.
Shri Nitin Gadkari, Honourable Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Govt.of India, graced the Occasion and lauded the efforts of CMPDI. Shri Nitin Gadkari also emphasized the importance of such CSR initiatives and said this will have positive impact on society and help PWDs to be self reliant.
Sri Manoj Kumar, Regional Director, RI-IV, Nagpur, gave a brief presentation on CMPDI's mission and vision and emphasized on the importance of CSR initiatives in the development of society.
Total 298 beneficiaries received Aids and Assistive Devices like wheelchairs, crutches, hearing aids, walking sticks, artificial limbs, and other devices that would help in mobility and communication of the divyangjans (PWDs).
Smt.Jaspreet Kaur Kahlon, HOD (P&A), RI-IV highlighted the CMPDI commitments towards social welfare and its efforts for the upliftment of people and development of society.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Miss Priyanka Tiwari, Nodal Officer CSR.
