Shri Pralhad Joshi concludes bidding for commercial coal mining through Press conference
The company bagged the Gare Palma-IV/7 coal mine in Chhattisgarh by quoting the closing bid of 66.75 percent revenue share.
The Last day of coal auction closes with record bid of 66.75% revenue share. The company bagged the Gare Palma-IV/7 coal mine in Chhattisgarh by quoting the closing bid of 66.75 per cent revenue share. This is the highest bid received in the auction which started a week ago with 19 coal mines and 42 bidders.
Shri Pralhad Joshi minister for Coal and Mines said, "Thanks to PM Shri Narendra Modi ji for sharing his vision of an #AatmaNirbharBharat & encouraging us to transform the coal sector. Bidding for commercial coal mining was successfully completed today & we now stand at the cusps of a liberalised sector that will drive the economy."
As the bidding for commercial coal mining is concluded today, held a press conference and addressed media queries on the auctions. It was a historic moment for the coal sector, having successfully conducted auctions for the maximum number of mines in a single tranche, he added.
