Shri Rajiv R. Mishra CMD WCL Launched WCL NEWS
Nagpur: CMD ,WCL Shri Rajiv R. Mishra launched "WCL NEWS" today, the first ever News Bulletin by any subsidiary of Coal India HQ . WCL NEWS is a fortnightly short bulletin which aims to further strengthen the information flow & communication framework
b, currently serving as the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Western Coalfields Ltd. (WCL) has taken over the additional charge of Chairman cum Managing Director, Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) from 24th September 2018.
Prior to this, Shri Rajiv R. Mishra has worked in Central Coalfields Limited as Director (Personnel) and at Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL), Ranchi as Head of Personnel & Administration. Holding a Master Degree in Geology and Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations, Shri Mishra began his career with CMPDIL over three decades ago.
Shri Mishra also worked with Northern Coalfields Limited, Singrauli, Coal India Limited, Kolkata, Eastern Coalfields Limited, Sanctoria and again with CMPDIL, Ranchi before joining CCL as Director (Personnel). Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) is one of the eight Subsidiary Companies of Coal India Limited (CIL) which is under administrative control of Ministry of Coal. The Company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 has its registered office at Coal Estate, Civil Lines, Nagpur–440001. WCL has been conferred "Miniratna" status on 15 March 2008.
