SJVN's successful & sustained journey; observes 35th Raising Day

New Delhi: The Indian public sector undertaking Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) a hydroelectric power generator completes its 34 years, including a victorious, encouraging, and hard work journey.
On the occasion Chairman & Managing Director SJVN, Nand Lal Sharma writes a letter that mentioned, "Our successful and sustained journey of 34 years would not have been possible without the sincere contribution of the SJVNites and all those who have supported us directly or indirectly."
Also, he expresses his gratitude towards employees, "Today, on 35th Raising Day, I would take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude towards you all who have made this possible."
The company has a total operating hydropower capacity of 1912 MW through its two hydropower plants—Nathpa Jhakri and Rampur. In addition, it has an installed capacity of 97.6 MW of wind power and 6.9 MW of solar power.
He appreciates SJVNites for their sincere hard work and innovative spirit that helped SJVN to grow its portfolio to around 31500 MW.
At present, SJVN has 11 Projects which are under construction, which include 9 Power Projects with a generation capacity of more than 4300 MW and 2 Transmission lines of 254 Kilometres, he said.
