Smt. Shalini Darbari takes charge as NBCC CVO
Smt. Shalini Darbari, assumed the charge of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of NBCC (India) Limited on 16th October 2020.
New Delhi: Smt. Shalini Darbari, assumed the charge of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of NBCC (India) Limited on 16th October 2020. She is a 1990 batch Indian Railways Accounts Service (IRAS) officer and joined the service in 1991.
A Post Graduate in Economics from Lucknow University, Smt. Shalini possesses more than two decades of professional experience in diverse fields like Finance, administration, project management, corporate finance and loan management. Apart from NBCC, she has also been entrusted with the charge of CVO of HSCL and HSCC, the two Subsidiaries of NBCC and BMTPC.
Among the important positions she held earlier before taking over the present assignments, are Director (Finance Expenditure) in Ministry of Railways looking after Investment Planning and Director (Co-ordination) in Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). It is worth mentioning that during her stint as Group General Manager/Finance with Dedicated Freight Corridor Ltd., Smt. Shalini has especially contributed to DFCCIL for the construction on Western Corridor being funded by JICA.
