Swachh Bharat Pakhwada begins at IndianOil’s Refineries Headquarters IOCians renew pledge for Clean India Mission
New Delhi: Shri B V Rama Gopal, IndianOil’s Director (Refineries), flagged-off Swachhta Pakhwada at Refineries HQ by administering the Swachhta pledge to IOCians, in the presence of Functional Heads and Swachhta Ambassadors.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Rama Gopal underlined the contribution of IndianOil and IOCians in making the mission successful across the country. Delving on the management of water bodies, that is the key focus area for this Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Shri Rama Gopal, shared his concern on the acute water crisis faced by the country and other parts of the world. He also shared the steps being taken at IndianOil refineries, for creating a clean, sustainable India.
Shri V K Shukla, ED (HR), RHQ, in his address, called upon IndianOil Swachhta Ambassadors to take forward the message of cleanliness and water conservation and contribute to the cause.
Earlier in the programme, Shri Ramveer Tanwar, a passionate environmentalist who has made it his life’s mission to clean and revive dying ponds and water bodies, energised and inspired the audience by sharing his success story.
An interesting skit was also presented by a team of youngsters on water conservation. Team Refineries Headquarters is responding enthusiastically to the Swachh Bharat Pakhwada by taking up various initiatives to make the drive fruitful.
