Tarun Kapoor, Former Petroleum Secretary appointed as Advisor to PM
New Delhi: The Government of India on Monday appointed former Petroleum Secretary, Shri Tarun Kapoor (Retd IAS:1987:HP) as Advisor to the Prime Minister in the Prime Minister's Office in the rank and scale of Secretary to Government of India initially for a period of two years whereas Hari Ranjan Rao (lAS:1994:MP) and Atish Chandra (lAS:1994:BH) were appointed as Additional Secretary, Prime Minister's Office for the balance tenure of their Central deputation.
Presently, Rao is working as Administrator, Universal Services Obligation Fund, Department of Telecommunications and Chandra is working as CMD, Food Corporation of India, Department of Food and Public Distribution.
