The government appoints Shri S Krishnan as new MD and CEO of Punjab and Sind bank
New Delhi: The government of India appoints Shri. S Krishnan as the new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive (CEO) of Punjab Sind Bank on Friday.
Shri. Krishnan takes charges from September 4, 2020, the bank states in the BSE filing. Previously he served as the executive director of Syndicate Bank from November 2017 to March 2020 and executive director of Canara Bank from April 2020 to September 3, 2020.
He is a cost accountant and a certified associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers joined Indian Bank in 1983 with a specialization in credit, corporate credit, and risk management.
