Valedictory Function of CEFC Pratham Foundation at HEC
Ranchi: CEFC Pratham Foundation, a joint initiative of Department of Heavy Industries, Govt. of India & Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited, is established as a National facility for imparting training in high-end technologies and founded under the scheme of 'Enhancement of Competitiveness in the Indian Capital Goods Sector.
The first Training Course on 'Welding Technology and Equipment' was organized by CEFC Pratham Foundation from June 06 – July 18, 2018 at NIFFT. The course was attended by 20 participants from various Organizations like SAIL, MECON, Walchand Nagar, HCL, GRSE, CMPDI, CCL, UCIL, NIFFT, S.K. Samanta Ltd. & HEC.
The training course was conducted by expert faculty members from CNIITMASH, Russia and was concluded with a test and evaluation by CNIITMASH to measure the knowledge and skill acquired by the participants. All the 20 participants have successfully passed the test and received the certificates from CNIITMASH. A Quiz was also organized during the training course, to encourage the participants to read and learn the course content.
In the valedictory Function Shri Avijit Ghosh, CMD, HEC, Shri M.K.Saxena, Director (Personnel), HEC, Shri Rana S. Chakraborty, Director (Marketing), HEC, Dr. P P Chattopadhyay, Director, NIFFT, Mr. V.V. Lurye, Team Leader, CNIITMASH and Director/CEFC, Shri A.K.Dash interacted with the participants and advised the participants to apply the learning at their workplace and continue to learn by interacting in the group through electronic medium.
The programme was concluded with vote of thanks by CEO, CEFC Pratham Foundation, Shri Manas R Panda.
