Visakhapatnam steel plant conducted Off-site Mock Drill
Local Residents of Madhina Bhag and village Secretary, Village President, participated in the Mock drill enthusiastically.

Madhina Bagh: Visakhapatnam steel plant conducted Off-site Mock Drill under the guidance of Sri J Shivasankara Reddy, Joint Chief Inspector of Factories (JCIF) on 09th November, 2020 at Madhina Bagh, Islampet village near Steel Plant with Scenario of Chlorine leakage from the toppled toner on the Road.
RINL/VSP provided the emergency services like checking and arresting of Chlorine gas leakage, Medical assistance, Ambulance and FMD. Fire & Rescue services by CISF, RINL-VSP wing. NDRF provided the search & rescue operation. Mutual Aid partners of RINL/VSP namely NTPC & Hinduja Power Plant actively participated in the Mock Drill.
Local Residents of Madhina Bhag and village Secretary, Village President, participated in the Mock drill enthusiastically.
The Off-site Mock Drill was well organized by Safety Engineering department of RINL/VSP. A review meeting was conducted at the spot by JCIF along with GM(S&E) I/c, Sri MSV Krishnaiah and valuable suggestions were given to villagers in handling the emergency situations. Factories department appreciated the efforts of RINL/VSP for organizing such public awareness program.
