WCL Two mines Awarded Star Rating Achievers Award
CMD Shri Manoj Kumar gave credit for these achievements to the entire team- WCL and congratulated everyone.
New Delhi: WCL's Adasa UG to OC and Moongoli mine for the year 2020-21 have been awarded the Star Rating Achievers Award by the Coal Ministry. The said awards were presented by the Honorable Coal Minister Shri Pralhad Joshi in a grand program organized in New Delhi.
On behalf of WCL, CMD Mr. Manoj Kumar, Regional General Manager of Nagpur Region Mr. Sunil Kumar and Regional General Manager of Vani Region Mr. Abhash Chandra Singh received this award.

Read Also : Giridhar Aramane, Defence Secretary Visits MDLLet it be known that The Coal and Lignite mines are being assessed by the Ministry of Coal on the basis of seven broad modules namely “Mining Operations, Environment, Incorporation of Technology and Best Practices, Economic Performance, Rehabilitation and Resettlement, Labor Related Compliance and Safety and Conservation of Coal in Public and Private Sectors across the country. And lignite mines are given star rating. Evaluating the overall achievements of each mine, star rating is given on a scale ranging from five stars to no stars.
