WCL was conferred with Coal Minister Award-2020
New Delhi: Shri Manoj Kumar, CMD, WCL accompanied by Shri D.M. Gokhale, Area GM of Nagpur Area, and Shri Kaushik Chakraborty, GM (Environment) received Coal Minister's Award-2020 for Sustainability conferred to WCL, at the hands of Honourable Coal Minister Shri Pralhad Joshi
Hon'ble Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal & Mines, Shri Pralhad Joshi presented the Coal Ministers Award-2020 to Western Coalfields Limited (Vecoli) today, Thursday, January 21, 2021. Mr. Manoj Kumar, Chairman-Co-Managing Director, received this award from the company. CMD Mr. Manoj Kumar credited this award for Sustainability to Team Vecoli. He said that this achievement is a pleasant reward for the hard work of the company personnel. Mr. Kumar said that this award received in the first month of the year will surely increase the enthusiasm of our team.
Coal Minister Mr. Joshi launched Coal India's Ambitious Planning Project Passion (Phase-1 ERP Implementation) and Krishnashila CHP of NCL online on the occasion. Mr. Anil Kumar Jain, Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Coal and Coal India Ltd, Chairman of Kolkata, Mr. Pramod Agarwal, and Mr. Vinay Dayal, Director (Technical) CCIL were present at this event held in New Delhi.
Mr. Diwakar Gokhale and General Manager (Environment) Shri Kaushik Chakraborty were also present on this occasion. Vacoli family members watched this whole event live on the virtual platform.
