Will Govt hold LPG subsidy after privatization of BPCL
New Delhi: The Central Government is selling its whole stake of 53 percent in BPCL in the process of disinvestment. The Public sector company BPCL known as Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited is going to be private soon and the customers are questioning on customer's Subsidy benefit.
There are 7.3 million domestic LPG customers of BPCL, and the subsidy benefit is for all, no services will be halt. This privatization BPCL is scaring the users.
However, the minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Shri Dharmendra Pradhan said, that there will be no hindrance in LPG subsidy, the subsidy will be given directly into the bank accounts of the customers.
