WIPS KIOCL extends helping hand to Rehabilitation Centre for Girls
Bangalore: “Abalashrama”, Basavanagudi, one of the oldest registered voluntary social organization in the City. It is primarily a rehabilitation centre for orphaned girls and destitute women between the age group of 16 and 35. Around 80 students/ destitute women are taking shelter in the Ashrama.
On 21st June 2017, WIPS Team had been to Abalashrama and witnessed the facilities created by the institution. WIPS Team also interacted with Staff about their health, studies, hobbies, daily routine and rendered support in the form of distributing Calculators and Wrist watches for college going Girl students of Abalashrama.
