Govt pays Rs 5.36 bn to NTPC for settlement of claims

NTPC, the country's largest power producer, announced that Government of India has paid Rs 5.36 billion to NTPC towards the settlement of claims

recoverable in respect of expenditure incurred on Loharinag-pala Hydro - Power project hares of the company gained Rs 2.75, or 1.93%, to trade at Rs 145.55. The total volume of shares traded was 75,916 at the BSE .
