EIL Celebrates 4th R&D Day, Showcases Innovation and Technology Roadmap
Gurugram, January 2026: Engineers India Limited (EIL) celebrated its 4th EIL–R&D Day at the EIL Gurugram Complex with great enthusiasm, reaffirming the organisation’s commitment to innovation and technological leadership in the energy sector.
The event was inaugurated by C&MD EIL, Ms. Vartika Shukla, who attended as the Chief Guest along with EIL’s Functional Directors, senior officials and employees.
The programme was graced by several eminent dignitaries, including Dr. Alok Sharma (Director–R&D, IOCL), Dr. Harender Singh Bisht (Director, CSIR–IIP), Shri Chandrasekhar N. (Executive Director & Head–R&D, BPCL) and Shri K. Naga Raja (Lead–Hydroprocessing & Residue Upgradation, HPCL).
Addressing the gathering, Ms. Shukla outlined EIL’s future R&D roadmap and emphasised the strategic importance of internationalising indigenous technologies to strengthen India’s global competitiveness. On the occasion, EIL also released the 10th edition of its R&D newsletter, “Srijan-Vidha.”
The distinguished speakers shared valuable insights on emerging technologies and ongoing R&D initiatives across the energy sector, highlighting the evolving role of innovation in shaping sustainable and efficient energy solutions.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment by EIL to remain at the forefront of technological advancement and contribute meaningfully to India’s energy transition.
