The CISF fire safety wing celebrated Fire Service Day at NTPC Bongaigaon today the 14th of April at the fire station. CISF will be observing Fire Service Week from 14.04.22 to 20.04.22.

NEW DELHI- The CISF fire safety wing celebrated Fire Service Day at NTPC Bongaigaon today 14th April at the fire station. CISF will be observing Fire Service Week from 14.04.22 to 20.04.22.
Shri Subrata Mandal, ED, NTPC, Bongaigaon inaugurated the program with a fire service pledge.
Shri Subrata Mandal, ED NTPC Bongaigaon applauded their commitment and dedication towards maintaining a safe environment.He also appealed for creating a safe environment at work place and in personal life taking precautions to avoid any accident.
On the occasion, Shri G.M.Thangzom, Unit Commandant (CISF), Shri M.S.Kandhari, Asst. Commandant, Fire, Ms. Kirti Yadav, Asst. Commandant, Fire, Shri D P Patra, GM (Operations), Shri Induri Reddy, GM (Maintenance), Shri Arunashis Das, GM (Operations),Shri Sandip Das, AGM (Safety/FQA), Shri Shashi Shekhar, AGM(HR), senior officials of present on the occasion.
Shri Mandal also flagged off a fire control vehicle for safety of the plant. A minute of silence was also observed as a homage to the martyrs of fire services.
Several activities related to Fire safety are planned for NTPC employees, Family members and CISF personnel during the week.
