Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh: Coal India Limited hosted a talk on the theme “Unlocking Viksit Bharat: Crafting a Developed Nation” by Shri Ravi Venkatesan, former Chairman of Microsoft India, at subsidiary Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh.
In his address, Shri Venkatesan emphasized the urgent need for transformation in a rapidly changing world shaped by climate change, artificial intelligence, and the spread of misinformation. He urged the audience to adapt, think innovatively, and take charge of their personal and professional growth. He underscored that leadership is not defined by titles but by how we respond to challenges.

Introducing the concept of a “portfolio life,” he encouraged individuals to lead lives that balance work with purpose, continuous learning, and diverse experiences.
The session, organised as part of the Golden Jubilee Series, was attended by Shri B. Sairam, CMD, NCL, along with senior management of NCL. Delegates from all subsidiary companies also joined the event virtually.
