GAIL’s Corporate Vigilance Department successfully hosted the 5th Structured Vigilance Meet on 11th June 2025 at the GAIL Corporate Office, New Delhi, bringing together 12 Joint Venture and Subsidiary companies falling under the purview of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).
The session served as a dynamic platform for dialogue, featuring:
(i) Important Vigilance Functions
(ii) Presentation of mandatory CVC compliances
(iii) Case Study discussion to differentiate between Vigilance Case Vs Administrative Matters
(iv) Discussion and Knowledge-sharing to drive transparency, efficiency & ethical governance
(v) It was also suggested to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for City Gas Distribution (CGD) companies to foster collaborative learning, facilitate the sharing of best practices, and promote the standardization of operational systems.

The meeting was chaired by Shri Rajnesh Singh, IRSME, Chief Vigilance Officer, GAIL, and attended by MDs & CEOs of JVs/Subsidiaries, along with Shri S.D.Sharma, HOD (Vigilance), GAIL, and the complete Vigilance Team of GAIL.

He also encouraged digital transformation through initiatives like e-Office and Vendor Invoice Management Systems to foster greater accountability and operational transparency.
