The total project cost is approximately Rs 1,512 Crores, out of which Rs 1,134 Crores are sanctioned by Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA), and the remaining Rs 378 Crores will be funded by internal accruals of the company.

Jaipur, 18 September 2025: The government-backed Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) has sanctioned a loan of Rs 1,134 Crores to Insolation Green Energy Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Insolation Energy Ltd, for financing the new manufacturing facility of 4.5 GW solar cell manufacturing being set up at Plot No-P-4, Manufacturing Zone for Power and Renewable, Mohasa Babai, Makhan Nagar, Narmadapuram - 461661, Madhya Pradesh.

The total project cost is approximately Rs 1,512 Crores, out of which Rs 1,134 Crores are sanctioned by Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA), and the remaining Rs 378 Crores will be funded by internal accruals of the company.

The company stated that it is progressing as per the plans of backward and forward integration of the entire solar energy value chain.

The solar cell manufacturing facility will be a step in this backward integration journey. The company proposed to plan for 3 GW of ingot & wafer manufacturing by the year 2028.
