Half-yearly meeting of Municipal Official Language Implementation Committee, Shimla organised under SJVN chairmanship

Shimla: With the aim of increasing the use of official language Hindi in Central Government Offices, Undertakings and Banks as per the guidelines of the Government of India, the half-yearly meeting of Municipal Official Language Implementation Committee, Shimla (Office-2) was organized at SJVN Corporate Headquarters, Shimla under the chairmanship of SJVN Limited. The meeting was chaired by Shri Chandra Shekhar Yadav, Executive Director (Human Resources), SJVN.

Addressing the meeting, Executive Director (Human Resources), Shri Chandra Shekhar Yadav emphasized on maximum use of official language in government work. In his address, he said that all the member offices are doing commendable work in their respective offices and will make every possible effort to complete maximum work in Hindi by maintaining this pace in future as well.

General Manager (Official Language) and Member-Secretary, Shri Ashish Pant, present in the meeting, presented the report of the work done by Narakas member offices and gave a brief information about the follow-up action/programmes of the last meeting.

The use of Hindi in Central Government offices was reviewed in the meeting and discussions were held in the direction of achieving the targets set by the Government of India. Also, consensus was reached on organizing various Hindi competitions and workshops by the committee. 52 officers from various central government offices, undertakings and banks participated in the meeting.
