MOU signed for DPR of NTPC Geo Thermal Project

 

New Delhi.A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between NTPC and Geological Survey of India, today at NTPC Head Office, New Delhi for preparation of DPR for Geothermal Power Project at Tatapani Chhattisgarh. Shri Ajit Kumar, ED (Business Development) NTPC and Dr. P. B. Sarolkar, Dy. Director General, GSI signed the MoU on behalf of their organisations. 

 

NTPC already has a MoU with Chhattisgarh Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA), Govt of Chhattisgarh, for setting up power project at the Tatapani Geothermal Field. Shri Thomas Joseph, ED (NETRA), NTPC, Shri Arun K. Gupta, GM (BD), Shri S. Raina, General Manager (REDG), Shri Sanjiv Sharma,Dy. Director General, GSI and Shri S. D. Patbhaje, GSI were present on the occasion.
