Q3 FY21 Profit: NALCO 123% jump in net profit in the 3rd quarter
The profit for quarter third for FY 2021 of Rs. 236.81 crores, a jump of 123 percent.

Bhubaneswar, Odisha: National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna CPSE under Ministry of Mines, GoI with integrated operations like bauxite mining, alumina refining, aluminum smelting & power generation, showed the profit for quarter third for FY 2021 of Rs. 236.81 crores, a jump of 123 percent.
NALCO registered a whopping jump in net profit and its feat is an indicator of economic activities in the nation, signaling a recovery in India's industrial capabilities post-Covid.
NALCO is one of the largest integrated Bauxite-Alumina-Aluminium- Power Complex in the Country. The Company has a 68.25 lakh TPA Bauxite Mine & 21.00 lakh TPA (normative capacity) Alumina Refinery located at Damanjodi in Koraput district of Odisha, and 4.60 lakh TPA Aluminium Smelter & 1200MW Captive Power Plant located at Angul, Odisha. NALCO has bulk shipment facilities at Vizag port for the export of Alumina/Aluminium and import of caustic soda and also utilizes the facilities at Kolkata and Paradeep ports. In FY 2021 quarter the second NALCO registered 107.445 crores.
