NBCC Awarded Key Rs 29.49 Cr Disability Infrastructure Project
NBCC bags a Rs 29.49 crore PMC project to build a new Composite Regional Centre in Madurai for NIEPMD, aimed at strengthening rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities.
NBCC (India) Ltd has received the Project Management Consultancy contract for developing a new Composite Regional Centre at Pudhuppatti in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. This project, initiated by the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities, is valued at an estimated Rs 29.49 crore.
The new CRC facility aims to greatly improve rehabilitation services for people with disabilities. It will provide better assessment, therapy, training, and outreach support in the region. The centre will be vital for enhancing accessibility, early intervention, and specialized care for those with multiple disabilities.
This project highlights the government’s ongoing effort to strengthen disability infrastructure nationwide and to improve access to quality rehabilitation services for rural and semi-urban communities.
