NBCC Contributed Rs 1 Crore to Bharat ke Veer Corpus

NEW DELHI: NBCC has contributed Rs Cr in 'Bharat Ke Veer Corpus Fund' . Dr. Anoop Kumar Mittal, CMD, NBCC presented the cheque to Shri Rajnath Singh, Union Minister of Home Affairs, in gracious presence of Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, Union Minister of Urban Development, in New Delhi on June 14, 2017. 

 

The amount has been contributed by NBCC, expressing its solidarity with the Martyred Jawans of Indian Para Military Forces who lay their lives on line of fire for the security of the Nation. Dr. Mittal, during his interaction on the occasion with Home Minister, has also offered that NBCC shall volunteer to take responsibility for the education of 5 children of Martyred Soldiers to be named by the Government. Dr. Mittal also discussed the possibility of NBCC’s participation in initiating Affordable Housing Scheme for Martyrs, as per the Govt. directions and guidelines. 

 

It may be mentioned that earlier, Dr. Anoop Kumar Mittal also contributed his award money of Rs.1 Lac to the Corpus Fund which he received from Hon’ble President of India for being awarded SCOPE Leadership Excellence Award (Individual Category).
