Two members of CBDT get additional charges
The Centre is currently in the process of selecting two new Members for the CBDT which is indicating some further changes in the board's composition in recent time.
An IRS IT officer of 1989-batch, Pankaj Kumar Mishra and current Member (TPS, & Revenue), CBDT has been assigned with the additional charge of Member (Administration). He will be subordinating with the Principal DG (HRD), Principal DG (Training), and DG, Vigilance.
Further, Sanjay Bahadur, an IRS officer of 1989-batch and Member (Income Tax), has been given the additional charge as In-charge of the West Zone, covering Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur.
The changes have come amid the retirement of Prabodh Seth, a 1989-batch IRS IT officer, from the Member (Administration) position in CBDT.
