Former CMD, NHPC passed away due to COVID 19
New Delhi: Former CMD, NHPC - National Hydropower Corporation ( Longest Serving), Former CMD, SJVN ( Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam ), and Former Chairman, UJVN passes away.
He was brought to Patna from a Native town in Bihar by Road Ambulance. On arrival at Patna, he Could not be admitted (Offered Treatment) for COVID due to obvious grave situation - No Hospital Beds, No Oxygen. However an Emergency Air Ambulance ( Helicopter) was arranged as he was Airlifted to Safdarjung Airport in Delhi ( Yet Could not be admitted to AIIMS or any Hospital in Delhi.
The Option of "Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital" in Greater NOIDA had been secured in the Meelee ( His retirement home is in NHPC Quarters in Greater NOIDA), where he was driven in again by Road from Safdarjung Airport and within hours of his admission yesterday on 22nd April 2022, he lost his brave battle with COVID and our System, breathed his Last.
