NTPC Achieves Record Biomass Utilization in March 2025, Advancing India's Zero-Waste Mission

In a major milestone towards sustainability, NTPC has achieved its highest-ever monthly utilization of 1,02,035 metric tonnes of biomass pellets in March 2025.

These pellets, made from agricultural waste, are co-fired in thermal power plants to generate electricity, reducing carbon emissions and promoting efficient waste management. On this International Day of Zero Waste, NTPC's efforts highlight the potential of renewable energy in shaping a cleaner, greener future for the nation.
