New Delhi: One of India's leading power generation company NTPC and the central public sector undertaking NLCIL, are taking a bold step towards sustainable energy.
Together, both the public sector companies are setting up a 450 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid project that combines the power of the sun and wind to deliver clean, efficient, and eco-friendly energy for the future.
On June 27, NLC India Limited received a Letter of Award from NTPC Limited to set up of 450 MW ISTS (Inter-State Transmission System) Connected Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project and Supply of Hybrid Power generated from the aforesaid project to NTPC Limited.

In this project, the company will supply power for a period of 25 years under PPA and will be developed in two locations, Bikaner, Rajasthan – 300 MW and Bhuj, Gujarat – 150 MW.
This initiative marks another milestone in our journey to reduce carbon emissions, promote renewable energy adoption, and create a greener tomorrow.
