NTPC begins final commercial operation of 52 MW Nokh Solar PV Project
This announcement follows the successful commissioning of the first capacity of 193 MW, which started commercial operation on June 9, 2025.

New Delhi, June 23, 2025: India's largest power utility company, NTPC Limited on June 22, 2025 announced that the company has successfully begun the commercial operation of second and final capacity of 52 MW out of 245 MW at its Nokh Solar PV Project (3x245 MW) in Rajasthan. This addition officially started operation at 00:00 Hrs on June 22, 2025.
This announcement follows the successful commissioning of the first capacity of 193 MW, which started commercial operation on June 9, 2025.

With the full 245 MW capacity at Plot-3 of the Nokh Solar PV Project now operational, NTPC's total standalone commercial capacity has reached 60,318 MW, and its group commercial capacity stands at 81,420 MW. The total standalone installed capacity for NTPC is now 60,978 MW, and the group installed capacity is 82,080 MW.
