NTPC Bongaigaon commences Vigilance Awareness Week

Bongaigaon: NTPC Bongaigaon joined the rest of the nation in observing the Vigilance Awareness Week starting from today till 1st November,2021.

Later, a vigilance oath was administered by Shri Subrata Mandal, ED, NTPC Bongaigaon in the presence of Shri Ujjwal Sarkar, CVO, NTPC Bongaigaon, and all departmental heads, employees of the station. This week marks for the organization to be vigilant and strive towards an integrity-based system constantly reminding to imbibe a professional and ethical culture within the company.
Shri Mandal stressed on a corruption-free society and urged employees and associates to be aware of various measures/ steps to make the organization vigilant and integrity-based. Vigilance oath was also observed inside the plant premises wherein Shri T. Ravinder, GM (O&M), Shri D.P.Patra, GM (Operations) administered the oath among the engineers of the plant. Shri Ravinder highlighted the role of a vigilant organization and also the perils of corruption in today’s date.
The week-long celebration organized by the vigilance wing of the station will see various competitions and activities within and outside the organization with COVID appropriate behavior.
