NTPC Bongaigaon concludes Vigilance Awareness Week
More than 300 people which included employees, school children of the township, spouses, CISF employees and family members participated in these competitions showing great enthusiasm and willingness to learn about vigilance and its importance.
New Delhi: The concluding ceremony of the Vigilance Awareness Week was held on 7th November,2022 . The 6-day long week began on 31.10.2022 till 06.11.2022 which saw active participation from employees, family members and CISF personnel concluded with a prize distribution ceremony on the 7th of November, 2022.
More than 300 people which included employees, school children of the township, spouses, CISF employees and family members participated in these competitions showing great enthusiasm and willingness to learn about vigilance and its importance.
Sh. Karunakar Das, Chief General Manager of NTPC Bongaigaon emphasized the importance of a corruption free society and the roles people play in enabling this visionary goal. He spoke about how NTPC as a responsible corporate citizen has in place several mechanisms to address and prevent corruption and how employees should be aware and alert as examples of personal and professional integrity.
The program saw the presence of Sh. Umesh Singh, GM (O&M), Sh. Sanjay Kumar Jha, GM(FM), Sh. Induri Srinivasa Reddy, GM (Maintenance), Sh. Arunashis Das, GM (Project), Sh. Sanjay Pande, GM(FGD),Shri G M Thangzom, DC (CISF) and Smt. Vidya Jha, Vice President, Bardwi Shikhla Ladies Club, Office bearers of Unions and Associations and the ladies club.
An in-house cultural program by wards of employees and a quiz competition was also held on the finale day. The finale ended with Sh. Karunakar Das, CGM NTPC Bongaigaon and the senior management of the station distributed prizes to winners and coordinators of various competitions held during the week-long awareness program. The entire program was coordinated by Shri Ujjwal Sarkar, DGM, Vigilance, NTPC Bongaigaon.
