NTPC Bongaigaon conducts Awareness session on Participative Vigilance
Dr. L R Bishnoi, Special DGP, Assam Police, Kokrajhar graced the occasion as faculty of the session, states that it is the responsibility of every citizen of the country that the system remains stable.

Bongaigaon: As part of Vigilance Awareness Week-2021, an awareness session on participative vigilance was conducted at NTPC Bongaigaon on 29th October,2021
Dr. L R Bishnoi, Special DGP, Assam Police, Kokrajhar graced the occasion as faculty of the session. Dr. Bishnoi stated that it is the responsibility of every citizen of the country that the system remains stable.
Dr. Bishnoi spoke on the importance of participative vigilance and stressed that every citizen should be proactive in observing the surroundings for any corruption and highlight the evils of it in appropriate forums. He said that parents should inculcate the values of honesty among their children. Dr. Bishnoi said that if more people are aware and conscious of the rules through the “Participative Vigilance’ workshops, there will be less fear about Vigilance functioning.
He underlined the fact that everyone must be vigilant. He emphasised corruption has an adverse effect on the society and advised to bring transparency in the system through more digitalisation and allied practices. He appreciated NTPC’s efforts towards vigilance awareness and urged all employees to contribute towards building a transparent and accountable framework.
During the session Shri Subrata Mandal, ED, NTPC Bongagaion Shri T Ravindar, GM-O&M, Shri D.P.Patra, GM(Operations), Shri A.K.Datta, GM (TS), Shri HK Brahma, Commandant, CISF, Shri RK Panda, GM-Maint, Shri AK Chawla, AGM-HR, HoDs and executives were present.
