Bongaigaon: NTPC Bongaigaon committed itself towards a sustainable planet by planting 100 saplings on the World Earth Day coinciding with the theme “Invest in Our Planet". The NTPC Bongaigaon senior management led by Shri Subrata Mandal, ED, NTPC Bongaigaon planted saplings of varied types including medicinal plants at its township premises.
Shri Subrata Mandal, ED, NTPC Bongaigaon spoke on how NTPC as a group company is focusing on inspiring governments, businesses, and citizens to combat climate change. Shri Mandal also highlighted the efforts of NTPC Bongaigaon towards creating a healthier planet for its stakeholders.
Shri T. Ravinder, GM (O&M), Shri Umesh Singh, GM (FM), Shri D P Patra, GM (Operations), Shri Induri Reddy, GM (Maintenance), Shri Arunashsis Das, GM (Projects) along with Shri E.Nyulli, AGM,EMG(Environment Monitoring Group) and Heads of Departments also participated in the plantation program.
