NTPC Dadri features in official books of UNDP
NTPC Dadri site will now be recorded in the Asian Waterbirds Census circuit and the bird census will be conducted annually to monitor the wetland.

Noida: National Thermal Power Corporation Limited, (NTPC) Dadri, an Indian Public Sector Undertaking features in the official books of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as a popular destination for migratory birds.
UNDP conducted a first-ever Asian Waterbirds Census (AWC), on January 15 and 16 at the NTPC Dadri complex, recorded as many as 45 bird species at NTPC Dadri, including some endangered, vulnerable, and threatened varieties like Ferruginous Pochards (near threatened), Common Pochards (vulnerable) and Egyptian vultures (endangered).
Now the Dadri site will now be recorded in the Asian Waterbirds Census circuit and the bird census will be conducted annually to monitor the wetland.
