Shri Sivakumar urged the senior officials to be updated about the latest technology, upgrade their skills, and adopt the latest communication tools for information and knowledge sharing to connect with internal and external customers.

New Delhi: Effective Communication is the essence of daily life and business dealings for the promotion of a company`s achievements and various activities for posting on various Social Media platforms should be a regular feature to connect to the target audience to create,promote and establish a brand of service and product” said Shri C. Sivakumar, Group General Manager(NTPC Dadri) while inaugurating the Online Communication Workshop for Senior Executives at NTPC Dadri on March 25, 2021. The Topic of the online workshop was “Effective Communication for Brand Building”.

While mentioning the importance and need of internal and business communication Shri Sivakumar also emphasized upon using various means of available media including social media platforms for publicity of achievements to deliver a strong message to the target audience.

On this occasion, the guest faculty  Shri Naresh Kumar, Senior General Manager(Corporate Communications), Power grid through elaborate presentation and films shared his views on the importance of effective communication for brand building and promotion. Shri Kumar also gave an overview of Corporate Communications Management to promote the brand image of the company and to handle crisis management. Shri Kumar also urged the senior officials to make the best usage of all available media resources including social media platforms in information sharing with their valued customers. Shri  Kumar also urged the online audience to be updated and sharpen their tools and skills to address various issues accordingly. Shri Kumar also shared his opinion about the importance of tools of PR such as house journals, e-magazines, brochure, displays, and exhibitions for brand promotion.

Shri Kumar also mentioned that short stories, write-ups, feature stories related to human interest, CSR, and for social cause may also be shared with various media groups to support various brand promotion campaigns.

Speaking on the occasion Shri K.S. Murthy, Head of HR gave an overview of the Communication Workshop and urged the senior officials connected online to adopt communication strategies for leadership development and to facilitate their business communication management for brand building and promotion. Shri Murthy also urged the senior officials to upgrade and sharpen their communication skills in information
