NTPC goes for rooftop solar plants
NEW DELHI . Taking another step towards renewable sources of energy, NTPC is focusing on installing Rooftop Solar PV systems at available roof areas in power stations. The move is aimed at meet ing the energy requirements of its various offices, starting with a 110kWp one that was inaugurated by Arup Roy Choudhury, CMD, NTPC at NTPC Engineering Office complex recently.
