NTPC Kaniha starts Swachhata Pakhwada 2023

Odisha: Observation of Swachhata Pakhwada 2023 started at Kaniha on 16th May with employees, and residents of Townships taking the Swachhata Pledge in the early morning.

The pledge was administered by Shri K. S. Sundaram, Executive Director, NTPC Kaniha. Addressing the gathering, Shri Sundaram highlighted the importance of maintaining cleanliness both at home and workplace.

Shri A K Sehgal, GM(O&M), Shri R N Das, GM(Project), Shri Y M Muralikrishna, GM(Operations), Shri B K Pandey, AGM(HR), Members of Ladies Club, representatives of unions and Association were present on the occasion.

A walk was organised in the PTS township to create awareness about the importance of swachhata among the residents. It enlisted the participation of employees, CISF personnel, participants of the ongoing GEM workshop and township residents.

A host of activities like special cleanliness drives in office and Plant premises, hospitals and Townships, market places, public places, Township and nearby schools during the Swachhata Pakhwada period, from 16-31 May 2023.
