In the meeting, they discussed the present status of the Covid situation in NTPC, and the issues encountered in last the month of the pandemic was apprised to all the Committee members.

NTPC organised Advisory committee meeting for COVID management

New Delhi: National Thermal Power Corporation Limited organised a meeting of the Advisory Committee for COVID management in NTPC. The meeting was held on May 25, 2021, through virtual mode and attended by Prof. M.C. Misra (Ex. Director-AIIMS), Mr. D.K. Patel (D-HR, NTPC), Dr. Sanjeev Sinha, Professor AIIMS – Medical Expert, Mr. MSD Bhattamishra, ED(HR), Mr. C V Anand, RED, SR, Dr. A G Risbood (CMO-CC), Dr. K D Soni. Addl Prof. JPNTC, AIIMS New Delhi, Dr. B. K. Behera (Sr. Consultant-Medicine, CC). 

 

 

In the meeting, they discussed the present status of the Covid situation in NTPC, and the issues encountered in last the month of the pandemic was apprised to all the Committee members.

 

According to the present situation across NTPC and to be prepared for the future, it is decided to continue the existing Covid appropriate behavior along with the SOPs, gate control, travel restrictions, testing and quarantine measures, and isolation facilities until the end of December 2021.

 

 

The existing facilities for Institutional quarantine, Isolation, and Covid Care Centers are to be kept operational until December 2021. All the hospitals of NTPC to establish Post Covid Care Clinic for taking care of Covid affected patients and necessary communication is to be given to all the persons.

 

To explore to have ICU and HDU facilities in Delhi NCR of 10 to 15 beds either by creating a new setup ( temporary/ permanent) or by liasoning with Hospitals/organisations providing such facilities.

 

There will no events with public gatherings in the townships and also advised not to attend such gatherings anywhere outside the townships until Dec 2021.

 

 

Further, a webinar is to be organized this weekend on Post Covid Care and Fungal Infection in Covid Patients by Dr. Sanjeev Sinha, Professor AIIMs and Dr. K.D. Soni, Addl Prof JPNTC, AIIMS New Delhi.
