NTPC participated in Go Electric campaign-an awareness initiative
Dignitaries visited the NTPC stall and took interest in the electric bus displayed by NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd (NVVN).
New Delhi: Go Electric’ campaign an awareness initiative inaugurated by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister for Road Transport & MSMEs in the august presence of Hon’ble Power Minister Shri R K Singh on 19th February 2021 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
Shri Arun Goel, Secretary, DHI, Shri Amitabh Kant, Chief Executive Officer, Niti Ayog, Shri Alok Kumar, Secretary, Power attended the inauguration function. Dignitaries visited the NTPC stall and took interest in the electric bus displayed by NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd (NVVN).
Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD, NTPC, Shri A.K. Gautam Director(Finance), and Shri Mohit Bhargav, CEO NVVN welcomed them at the NTPC stall set up at the venue. Go Electric logo & FAQ handbook brought out by BEE, the nodal agency for the Go Electric campaign was also launched on the occasion.
Shri Vivek Kumar Dewangan, Addl Secy, Power, delivered the welcome address, Shri Abhay Patre, Director, BEE, Senior officials from Ministries and PSUs were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
