NTPC provides financial assistance to set up a COVID-19 hospital

Bhadrak: NTPC provides financial assistance to set up a COVID-19 hospital in Odisha’s Bhadrak. NTPC is extending help to Odisha government towards the establishment, operation and management of 120 bed Salandi Hospital at Bhadrak. The hospital will function as COVID care centre.

 

NTPC has committed an amount of Rs 35 lakh per month towards the cost of rental charge of the hospital, lodging and boarding of medical and paramedical staff engaged in the hospital for the smooth running of the COVID-19 Care Centre. The financial assistance is being made for a period of 3 months with a total financial implication of Rs 1.05 Crore for operation and maintenance of COVID Care Centre.
