NTPC to sell 10 MW solar power to DVC

BHUBANESHWAR.  NTPC, the country`s biggest power producer would sell 10 MW solar power to Damodar Valley Corporation. The solar power plant of 10 MW capacity installed within thecomplex of NTPC’s 3000 MW super thermal power station at Kaniha, near Talcher, ispoised for commissioning by March this year.

 

Mr V B Fadnavis, executive director of NTPC (Talcher-Kaniha) said that ”We have already entered into a power purchaseagreement with DVC for sale of solar power. The power generated from oursolar plant will be sold in bundled form along with thermal power at a price of INR 6 to 7 per unit.”
