NTPC-CMD visits Ramagundam

NTPC-Ramagundam is a  world-class station with International "The Top Plant 2015 Award" and NTPC`s overall BE Excellence Trophy said Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD, NTPC  addressing employees at  Ramagundam today. He added that Ramagundam has moved forward with its all-round excellence and exhorted Team Ramagundam to take the station to the next level with the thrust on Health, Safety and Environment.

 

 

 

He advised the employees to generate electricity reliably and efficiently to remain  leader in the sector as well as meeting future challenges.

 

 

 

The CMD further added that with the coming of Telangana Project, the station will  be one of the largest stations in the country. The process for foundation stone  laying ceremony of Telangana Phase-I is on, he added.

 

 

 

During his visit,  Shri Singh visited the site location of Telangana STPP Phase-I  besides visiting the control rooms of Ramagundam STPS. Later, in a meeting with  senior executives, he reviewed the progress of the station and challenges ahead. He also interacted with office bearers of different unions and associations.

 

 

 

Director (Operations), Shri K. K. Sharma; RED (South) Shri R. Venkateswaran,   ED  (South) Shri V. B. Fadnavis and ED-Ramagundam Shri P. K. Mohapatra were present.
