NTPC’s Glorious Journey in Nation Building
NTPC Farakka participated in the 25th Sundarban Krishti Mela O Loko Sanskriti Utsab organized at the remote village of Kultali, Basanti.

New Delhi: Showcasing NTPC’s Glorious Journey in Nation Building: NTPC Farakka celebrates Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav at 25th Sundarban Krishti Mela Celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, NTPC Farakka participated in the 25th Sundarban Krishti Mela O Loko Sanskriti Utsab organized at the remote village of Kultali, Basanti.
The 10 days exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Dhruvajyoti Chatterjee, Vice-Chancellor, Sister Nivedita University, and Ms. Pubari Roy eminent academician.
The exhibition depicts NTPC's glorious journey in building the Indian power sector and in the development of communities around it. NTPC Farakka is showcasing its commendable work in fighting the pandemic during the past years.
A pledge wall is installed to aware and encourage people to take small pledges for conserving energy for an Energy-Efficient India. Kawach, the Mascot is also displayed to depict NTPC’s firm belief in Workplace Safety.
To make the exhibition inclusive for local villagers, the local language is used for most of the exhibits and the pamphlet. A selfie wall with NTPC’s core values is also put up to increase the interaction.
The local villagers of Kultali were seen enjoying the exhibition, interacting with the exhibits and learning about the rich journey of NTPC.
