A joint venture company has been formed between Oil India Limited and Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL) called “APGCL OIL GREEN POWER LIMITED.”. The company has informed through exchange filing.

The incorporation is done to plan, develop, construct, own, and operate renewable/green energy projects, including but not limited to solar small hydro, hydrogen-based wind biomass or any other form kind or description Explore, research, develop and establish green hydrogen infrastructure, including production, storage, transportation, and distribution facilities, and engage in research and development of green hydrogen technologies, including production through renewable energy sources, promoting the use of green hydrogen as an alternative energy source.
