Power Grid approves GI Document for issuing debentures

State-owned Power Grid Corporation has approved the General Information Document (“GID”) for issuing debentures in one or more tranches through its ‘Committee of Directors for Bonds’.
As per the filing, the ‘Committee of Directors for Bonds’ in their meeting held today i.e. on 26th March, 2025, has approved General Information Document (‘GID’) for issuance of POWERGRID Debenture ("Debt Securities" / "Bonds"), in one or more tranches or through one or more issuances, for the Financial Year 2025-26, on Private Placement basis.
Shares of the Power Grid are surged by 1.15% at Rs 294.35. The market capitalization of the company is atRs 2.74 lakh crore with dividend yield at 3.57%.
