A part of the on-going ‘Doctor Aapke Dwaar’ Initiative, the MMUs will be instrumental in bringing primary health services to the doorsteps of the deprived sections of society across 7 districts of Tamil Nadu.

REC Limited Commits Rs. 8.41 Crore to Indian Red Cross Society for 7 Mobile Medical Units

New Delhi: REC Limited a Maharatna company has committed financial support of Rs. 8.41 Cr. for the procurement and deployment of 7 Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) along with related operational expenditure for three years to the Indian Red Cross Society. 

The MMUs were handed over in the presence of Hon'ble Dr. Justice M. Jaichandren (Retd.), Chairman & Vice President of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Tamil Nadu State Branch as Chief Guest; Shri Nainar Nagendran, MLA, Tirunelveli as Special Guest and Shri Narayanan Thirupathy, Independent Director, REC Ltd. as Guest of Honour along other senior officials of REC & IRCS Tamil Nadu.
